Kuirau Lodge has three guest bedrooms situated on the ground floor. The superior room has an ensuite and king bed and the two standard bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed, share bathroom and toilet facilities. Two separate rest rooms with vanity and toilet facilities are available, one adjacent to the main lounge and the other situated upstairs off the mezzanine lounge/library Upstairs, above the garage, is the studio unit, a self contained one bedroom unit ( with king bed ) complete with ensuite, lounge and kitchenette facilities.
A formal guest lounge, complete with full home theatre facilities, provides a relaxed atmosphere for guests to unwind. A full size tennis court (flood lit for night) is available for the more sports orientated along with a basketball net.
A 14 metre heated freshwater swimming pool allows guests all year round swimming. Complete with water slide and waterfall the pool is surrounded by palm trees which provides a tropical setting.
A Thermal mineral spa adjacent to the pool can be filled on demand providing a pleasant way to soak away the aches and pains. Landscaping and lighting provide selective mood changes as day turns to night.
A large north facing deck provides covered and open areas to relax on and enjoy pre dinner drinks and succulent appetisers or just soak up the ambience of the area.
Through the back gate the Utuhina Stream provides a tranquil area to enjoy the local wildlife. Feed the ducks, swans and Pukeko or, during the season and provided you have a fishing license, cast a fly into the waters and chance catching a rainbow trout.
Adjacent to the main Lodge are two, three bedroom, chalets which are completely self contained. A further two bedroom chalet is currently under construction and will be available for rental in 2011.
